She is a girl who wished to see the world. She is a great talker. She loves the outdoors. She loves being with people. She loves the energy and the vibe. People see her as a happy go lucky girl. A girl with no problems. But if you know her more, she is a very pessimistic girl who sees the negative side of things and events and dwell on it more than the positive side. Behind her smiles are bucket full of tears she tries to keep every night. Behind her laughter is a weeping soul. Despite that, she tries to make it in this world. In time, she will be okay. She will be better. She will make her dreams come true. And she will be big.

Each and everyone of us must have that great desire to travel and see the world I for an instance, is one of those guilty individuals who possess this desire. You may address this as my bucketlist or the places I have to go to before I die. I know someday I will earn my own money and save and I will be able to go to these places. I know.

→ California, USA. Beverly Hills is just the place to go to. I want to know what’s it like there and try to go to the beaches that I just always see in the movies.

→ Dubai, UAE. The Burj Al Arab is one of the enormous buildings there in Dubai and people just go there to have a taste of the famous place.

→ Las Vegas, USA. Do I have to explain further? Someday, I will wake up in Vegas play in the casino and live a luxurious life.

→ London, England. Westminister Palace and the Elizabeth Tower is so historic you gotta go to them and see how beautiful they are.

→ Paradise Islands, Bahamas. The Atlantis resort here in Bahamas is a very dreamy place. It’s like living a dream when you’re in there. I’d like to go swimming and enjoy the place. God, take me there now.

→ Paris, France. Everyone is dreaming to go here. Fall in love here and all the other cliches. But indeed, I want to go up here and see the view or just stare at it forever. The Eiffel Tower is a must go place.

→ Rome, Italy. I first loved Rome when I got to watch the movie When In Rome. Being the hopeless romantic I am, I also would want to wish in the Trevi Fountain.

→ Santorini, Greece. Whatever do you call these mini houses or apartments? This just caught my eye. The culture here is kind of different and I wanna experience that too.

→ Stratford, Canada. Of course, I’d love to be here to visit Justin Bieber’s home city. I will find his house and stalk it! Haha. Seriously.

Of course, there’s a lot more places I wanted to go to. And if you ask me, it’s a long list and will take me whole day to explain to you guys why I wanted to goto these places. So that’s it, what’s your dream places? :)

BEST OF THE 90’s

Before kids today got addicted to Spongebob, Phineas & Ferb, Dora the Explorer, and Ben 10, us 90s kids spent the mornings in front of the TV watching the most popular tagalized cartoons during our time. Shows that imparted lessons and trademarks like no other. Most of these cartoons were adapted from anime series, novels and were translated into different languages. The onslaught of these cartoons left a place in my heart when I was a kid.

To the kids not my age, here’s a list of great shows you missed:

Madeline →

The intro to this shows leaves me LSS every time I watch it. I love how Madeline and her friends gather and go to different adventures every episode.

Cedie, Ang Munting Prinsipe →

This talented boy with a flute made me want to play with him back when I was a kid.

Remi, Nobody’s Girl →

I love Remi’s animal friends. This dramatic series is one of those to be never forgotten.

Sara, Ang Munting Prinsesa →

Of course, she’s everybody’s favorite - Princess Sara. Who would forget Erminguard, Becky and Ms. Minchin? This was even remade by astounding actors and actresses in the Filipino industry. Camille Prats played Sara’s role, Angelica Panganiban as Becky and Ms. Jean Garcia as the terrible Ms. Minchin. Everytime I see this movie on TV, I always take time to watch it.

Ghost Fighter →

I remember watching this with my brother. And I also remember having a great crush on Eugene. I used to collect playing cards with them on the picture because all of them were boys and I was amazed by how they got ther superpowers.

Inuyasha →

I love Inuyasha’s humor and how he showed his friendship and love for Kagome. I always wait for the part where he unleashes his “animal” side.

Sailor Moon →

Every little girl who watches this would always want to be them. I for once, asked my mom before to buy me dolls and costumes like them. Their wands were the best part. I wait for the part where they close their eyes and they will change to their superhero side.

Peter Pan →

No one will get tired of this. Wendy, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan is a never miss out in your childhood.

Judy Abbott →

Of course, I can still to the opening song until now. Judy Abbott is just the girl to be. I love her so much. Her bubbly and optimistic personality never failed any avid watcher smiling after watching this show.

Yes, I feel old. But these shows still reminds me of my childhood. I found myself reminiscing these shows. I hope kids nowadays could still watch these cause for sure they’ve missed a lot of childhood in there. Now kids woke up in a world of Xboxes, PSPs and computers. They never get to see these cartoons anymore and I just pity them for that. The lessons and morals we’ve learned form these cartoons greatly contribute to the person we (90s kids) are today :)
